Hey everyone! I’m Madeleine Rocco (the creator of Maddy Rocco Art), an independent artist originally from North London.

I have always had a love for art since I was a small child. Growing up with my mum working as a designer in the fashion industry, I was always surrounded by sketches, sewing machines and art books, and have always felt inspired and energised by the creative world around me.

I studied art all through school until I went to University to do a degree in Structural Engineering. However, creating art has always stayed with me throughout the years, and I continued sketching, oil painting and attending life drawing classes throughout my 20’s (my dog called Biskit, who is my absolute world, being the main subject of a lot of this earlier artwork!)

In my late teens, I got my first wacom tablet which introduced me to the world of digital art. I loved the idea of being able to sketch, overlay and paint so conveniently, with the endless opportunities using different brush types, colors and adjustable layers. I finally decided to upgrade to an IPad Pro and apple pencil in my early twenties on the condition that I would promise myself to create more digital art. Fast forward to now, I have a selection of my digital art pieces that are now available to buy as prints on this website.

Currently based in the French Alps, the mountainous landscapes and ski resorts are what have inspired recent artwork which is a lot of what is now available for sale on this website.
